Hull Truck Act 111

Act 111 is Hull Truck’s community theatre group for the over-55s. As Act 111’s Director from 2014 to 2020 I led weekly workshops, where we shared stories, drama improvisations and writing exercises. From this preliminary work we then devised, scripted and rehearsed new stage shows which were produced at Hull Truck Theatre. The process gave participants a platform to develop their creative skills in writing and performance, and create a original theatre from concept to production.
